Went out for dinner with the whole family, which normally mean slower than normal service. This was not the case. Service was great, we all have different items which were all great. My steak was cook perfectly, which is difficult to get Med-Rare in 2025. Put it on your list of places to go.
This place does not disappoint folks! Great food, great service and great drinks! Happy hour is a must.3-6pm.. But Taco Tuesday is a must! Already from March '25.. It's no joke. $3 Tall Coors & $3 Margaritas! $2.50 big a$$ tacos! Catfish,smoked Brisket and smoked pork!!!!
The four of us ate good, tasty BBQ here. My friend said that this restaurant no longer has the same sauces on the table. So he misses his favorite sauce. There were 4 of us, so this was a special dining occasion, as it was about $130-140!
Had an awesome meal here with the BBQ Feast. Easily feed six people and some. Great variety and quality. The Roasted Chicken was some of the best I've had. Ribs and Brisket were decent too. Huge number of sides from slaw, beans, and fries. Can't got wrong with this for a large group. Inside is very cozy, large, and warm. Staffs were also very friendly and fun.
Famous Dave's is a decent BBQ joint. The food is always solid and tasty. It is a bit pricey, however, if you get the "feasts" you won't be disappointed with the portion size! My husband decided to get 9 ribs on his own so my daughter and I split the feast for two. Man oh man!! LOTS of food!! Choices of meat, sides, corn and muffins! We ended up with a lot of left overs and didn't have to go out for lunch the next day! The waitress was excellent. Fast. Attentive to our needs and checked in with us a number of times. Real friendly! The restaurant was clean and had the typical Dave's paraphernalia scattered and hanging about. Is it the BEST bbq joint? Honestly, no. I've been to better bbq places, but, it is certainly one you can be satisfied with and walk away satiated. And the staff were wonderful. That alone makes it worth it.
